Nascut in Edinburgh, Scotia la sfarsit de octombrie (24 octombrie 1796 – 25 noiembrie 1864) a lasat o colectie impresionanta de litografii ce detaliaza viata egiptenilor, cladiri impresionante, piramide, misteriosul Sfinx, scene de viata din Orientul apropiat, etc.

Si-a inceput cariera in 1816 cand a fost ales ca asistent scenograf. Va invitam sa va relaxati urmarind cateva dintre lucrarile lui David Roberts.

David Roberts a calatorit in Egipt, Israel, Iordania, Spania, Italia, etc lasand mostenire lucrari extrem de valoroase ce surprind farmecul unor vremuri apuse.
